The working principle of the crushing jaw.
The working principle of the crushing jaw is as follows:

Structural Basis
The crushing jaw is usually composed of key components such as the jaw body, hydraulic cylinders, and connecting devices. The jaw body generally has sturdy jaws with serrations or cutting edges, and the hydraulic cylinders are responsible for providing powerful driving force. The connecting devices ensure that it can be firmly installed on operating equipment such as excavators.
Power Drive
The core power source is the hydraulic system. When the operation starts, the high-pressure oil output by the hydraulic pump of the equipment (such as an excavator) is delivered into the hydraulic cylinders of the crushing jaw, pushing the pistons to move back and forth in the cylinders. This hydraulic driving method can generate relatively large force, which is sufficient to handle the crushing operations of various hard objects.
Crushing Process
Taking the crushing jaw installed on an excavator as an example, during the operation process, the movements of the crushing jaw are controlled by operating the control levers of the excavator. When the jaws are closed, the two jaws approach each other. Relying on the strong biting force and the serrations and cutting edges on the jaws, they tightly grip the objects that need to be crushed, such as concrete blocks, stones, and waste metals. As the hydraulic cylinders continue to exert pressure, they prompt the jaws to continuously squeeze and cut until the objects are crushed into small pieces or fragments that meet the requirements, realizing the effective crushing treatment of materials and achieving different operational purposes such as resource recycling and site cleaning.
In general, relying on hydraulic drive and its own structural characteristics, the crushing jaw can achieve efficient crushing operations on objects with different hardness levels and is widely used in many fields such as building demolition, mining, and waste treatment.
