What are the functional differences between rotary crushing shears and fixed crushing shears

Here are the functional differences between rotary crushing shears and fixed crushing shears:

1. Operational Flexibility
- Rotary Crushing Shears:
Equipped with a 360° slewing bearing rotation system, they can freely rotate during operation and flexibly adjust their orientation according to the working conditions and the angle of the demolition object. This is particularly suitable for precise demolition of components at different angles and directions in demolition work. For example, when demolishing complex structures like buildings or bridges, they can more conveniently align with the parts to be crushed, improving operational mobility and accuracy.
- Fixed Crushing Shears:
Directionally fixed, they can only operate in their installed fixed direction, with relatively limited operational angles. When requiring crushing from multiple angles, frequent adjustments to the excavator's position may be needed to change the shear's working angle, resulting in poorer flexibility.

 2. Applicable Working Conditions
- Rotary Crushing Shears:
Better suited for primary demolition work, especially in high-altitude operations and scenarios requiring high precision. For instance, when demolishing the floor slabs of tall buildings, they can easily align with floor slabs in different positions through rotation and better control the crushing range and force, reducing impact on surrounding structures.
- Fixed Crushing Shears:
Typically used for secondary demolition, they feature high crushing force, speed, and efficiency, making them suitable for further crushing and processing of initially broken concrete blocks—thoroughly smashing concrete and separating the embedded steel bars.

 3. Operational Efficiency
- Rotary Crushing Shears:
The ability to flexibly adjust angles can reduce the need for excavator movement and repositioning in complex working conditions, thereby improving overall efficiency. However, due to the added rotation mechanism, their structure is relatively complex. When maintenance is well-performed, they can exhibit high-efficiency advantages; otherwise, malfunctions may affect productivity.
- Fixed Crushing Shears:
With a simpler structure and high stability, they achieve high efficiency in their specialized secondary demolition tasks, relying on strong crushing force and fast crushing speed. They are also easier to maintain, with fewer interruptions from rotating component failures.

 4. Limitations in Application Scenarios
- Rotary Crushing Shears:
The addition of slewing bearings, motors, and other components makes the overall structure more complex and costly. In harsh construction environments, rotating parts are prone to damage. For example, in scenarios requiring rough operations like prying or pulling with the shears, the slewing bearings and motor output shafts/bearings of the rotation mechanism are easily torn or prone to oil leaks, making them unsuitable for such conditions.
- Fixed Crushing Shears:
Due to their fixed operational angles, they may face challenges in scenarios requiring high precision and complex angles or in narrow spaces. For instance, in situations requiring precise crushing while avoiding surrounding obstacles, operational difficulty increases significantly.
